Our client is the leading designer and manufacturer of electric heaters and control systems for safe, flameproof and hazardous area applications. The Range includes immersion heaters, process heaters, air warmers, explosion proof heaters, fuel gas heaters, fuel oil heaters, line heaters etc.

You will be responsible for the overall management of assigned manufacturing contracts of engineered products, attending on/off site client meetings as required by contract, checking and verification of design documentation including the review and implementation of client specifications, ensuring that all designs meet the requirements of the company`s Certification, local and international standards and regulations. You will also be responsible for ensuring that output targets, as agreed in production meetings and on-time contract completion dates are adhered to. You will liaise with clients, sub-vendors, Engineers, Project Buyers and Shop Floor Supervisors as appropriate to discuss and resolve technical, production and commercial issues relating to agreed output and ensure that all shipping requirements are fulfilled in advance of equipment completion/ despatch.

In addition, you will assume complete commercial responsibility for assigned contracts including, but not limited to ensuring LOC s are in place as required by contract, ensuring that any potential liquidated damages claim is dealt with prior to equipment shipment and revised contract dates agreed in the event of contract slippage, signing of Project Buyer generated purchase orders to ensure project spend is within the contract costing, liaising with the Proposals Engineer in instances where proposed material spend is in excess of that allowed in costing and reviewing monthly cost of sales, analysing any areas of overspend. You will also work within a Quality Management System meeting the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001
