Component/System Durability Test Engineer

Specialist Durability Test Engineer - Component/System Test Rigs.
Skills Required:
Practical experience of working in rig test environment. Experience of electro-hydraulic test rig operation and running/managing test programmes. The candidate must also have proven history of sample assessment/investigation after test and report writing.
Skills Preferred:
Ability to liaise with design engineers, test engineers and fitters to support development of test rigs.
Experience Required:
Experience of electro-hydraulic test rig design/build/operation.
Experience Preferred:
Good knowledge of motor vehicle systems, road load data analysis, measurement transducers such as accelerometers, load cells etc.
Education Required:
Minimum HND in Mechanical or Motor vehicle engineering.
Additional Information:
Please note that the successful candidate will be expected to work on a two shift basis, 6am-2pm and 1.30pm-9.30pm. Initially based at Whitley but may be required to work at Gaydon.
