Graduate Mechanical Engineer required in Leicester - £21.00 per hour.
Our client is a world leader in the manufacture and supply of construction equipment and diesel engines.
They are currently recruiting for an Graduate Mechanical Engineer to work on the design of new global products and processes.
The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will evaluate new products, processes and systems, perform needs analysis and initiate ideas. They will communicate their findings to customers, suppliers, team members and other business units. The role requires the practical application of basic engineering principles and will provide valuable assistance to the project teams responsible for the introduction of new production models.
Though this is an entry level position, candidates will need to be Degree qualified in an Engineering, Computer Science or Materials Science subject and have at least a year"s prior experience working in a fast-moving engineering/manufacturing environment. They will be have a working knowledge of industry process and change control, be familiar with the production of Bills of Materials as well as a proven track record using a 2D draughting package such as AutoCAD. They will also possess excellent organisational and communication skills.
