Electronic Engineer required in Leicester - £27.50 per hour.
Our client is a world leader in the manufacture and supply of construction equipment and diesel engines. They are currently recruiting for an Electronic Engineer to design, develop and test electronic components and systems for production by the company.
The Electronic Engineer will design electronic components, software, products and systems for commercial, industrial, military and scientific applications. As well as design solutions, they will deliver support to the product groups for use in current production and future machines. They will be responsible for evaluating the cost effectiveness, system requirements and customer needs to determine the feasibility of project/systems plans. They will determine material and equipment requirements and oversee the ordering of supplies. They will provide technical support and instruction to staff regarding equipment standards, and inspect all electronic equipment, products and systems to ensure specifications conformance and safety standards.
Candidates will be Degree qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, with a proven track record in designing electronic circuits and components, the ability to apply principles of electronic theory in producing sketches, engineering drawings and common computations. They should also have prior experience working in an engineering field.
