Responsibilities

- Assist or lead in the deployment of software to solve customer design issues related to bearings
- Train and assist users in the use of "routine" and "specialised" simulations for the design of bearings and bushes
- Assist or lead in the development of new simulation and design techniques

Requirements

Essential
- Degree in Engineering Sciences (eg Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Tribology) with a special interest in computer simulations and software.
- At least 2 years post-qualification experience.
- Experience in coding software or Finite Element methods.
- Ability to manage projects and deadlines
- Ability to initiate projects and work as part of a team in a technical environment

Desirable
- Proficiency in another language
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of engines and components
