Busness Development Manager

Our client operates a state-of-the-art specialist fuel blending facility which supplies bespoke fuels to the global automotive, oil, additive, motorsports (including F1), defence and aviation industries.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing existing and new target customers in order to achieve business objectives and growth targets within their prime markets. The Business Development Manager will be require to utilise the company's products and capabilities and contribute to the development and implementation of the business strategy.
The successful candidate will also facilitate the preparation of quotations which will include bid production and submission. The role will require extensive travel together with communication at all levels.
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified with proven track record of sales and business development within this sector.
You must be able to conduct professional commercial and technical presentations at senior customer levels and successfully negotiate all aspects of business proposal through to contract award and managing multiple sales opportunities of varying complexity. You must have excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills and be willing to travel regularly within the UK and sometimes abroad at fairly short notice.
