Client Information
My client a leading global chemical manufacturer require an experienced Reliability Engineer to join their established team due to sustained growth

Main Duties
The main responsibilities of the role include ensuring the all maintenance activities are conducted to the highest levels in terms of quality, health and safety and Engineering standards. The post holder will be there to provide technical support to various teams across the plant. Along with driving through continuous improvement and capital equipment reliability


Job description
Ensuring all maintenance duties are carried within site, company and legislative guidelines, with regard to QHSE (Quality, health and safety and Environment) and Engineering standards
Leading a culture of continuous improvement across the company
Provide technical assistance to engineers and planning departments to ensure efficient work flows can be produced
Ensure asset replacements, ensuring minimal disruption to plant efficiency and productivity
Project work investigating new equipment requirements and process improvement to the department including submitting applications.
Ensure all corrective actions are implementing follow all audits, inspections following all time and budget requirements
Responsible for maintenance budgets and monitoring costs within the area
Work closely with Manufacturing engineers to identify solution to any issues across the plant


Key skills and experience
Candidates should be Degree educated in a Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or have relevant work experience
Must have very strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
Ideally candidates should be working to or already hold chartered status
Qualified with NEBOSH certification
Experience of working in a top tier COMAH environment
Knowledge of fixed equipment design and maintenance including pressure vessels, Pipe systems and furnaces etc.
Experience of a variety of maintenance strategies
