Stress Engineer-Permanent

The business involves the design, analysis and build of aerospace gas turbine assemblies and engines. A new opportunity exists for a permanent Stress Engineer. This role is commutable from Rugby, Coventry, Leicester, Derby and Nottingham.
You will carry out stress and fatigue analysis of gas turbine components and assemblies as well as external mountings. You will use mainly Patran and ANSYS. Nastran, hand calcs, Excel and Mathcad may also be used. There may well be an opportunity for some travel in UK and abroad with this role.
You will be Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering and have gast turbine or aerospace or relevant stress and/or fatigue analysis experience. You will be entitled to work in the UK. Ansys and/or Patran experience is ideal but is not essential.
