Cost Analyst

To provide Cost estimates for all on-going programme activity EG PCR/PCN and VA/VE

Provide support to JIT Purchasing in analysing sub-supplier quotations

Financial assessment of a programme relative to both the Initial Quotation phase and subsequent changes.
- Creation of Selling Price.
- Production of Capital Budget Analysis if required.
- ?mplementation of company policy / targets.

Tracking and Control of a programme from nomination to "handover" to Plant Controller (circa S.O.P.).
- Management reviews.
- Programme financial reviews.
- To provide Cost estimates for all on-going Programme activity. EG PCR/PCN and VA/VE
- Provide support to JIT Purchasing in analyzing sub-supplier quotations

Financial viability / sanity check relative to changes in product, process or circumstances.
- Creation of incremental selling prices.
- Financial review of scenario / change.

Secondary Function
To support management by undertaking any other ad hoc request, out of operational necessity

Experience: Experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment preferably in a similar role
Excellent financial and commercial awareness / experience

- Experience of using Microsoft Access, Microsoft Project in a working environment.
- Working knowledge of Ford processes
