Project Quality Engineer
Powys, Wales
We are recruiting for a Project Quality Engineer on a 6-month contract based in Powys.
As Project Quality Engineer, you will provide quality support to plant for new product introduction on XF and X152 projects.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Support home line commissioning for both press and assembly processes
* Customer liaison as required.
* Liaison with Group Project Engineers
* APQP/PPAP review for approval in line with plant requirements
* Review supplied toolmaker reports for plant approval
* Review supplied checking fixture designs and final buy off for plant approval
* Control of Checking Fixtures/Master sample storage
* Set up new parts on NDT/Teardown process
* Control of CAD
Characteristics and Requirements:
* Experience of APQP and PSW submission
* Ability to understand Car line co-ordinate system
* Understanding of CMM set up advantageous
* Ability to work unsupervised and attention to detail essential
* Good communication skills.
* Computer literate, MS Word and Excel skills essential
