TITLE: SQA / SQE / Supplier Quality Engineer
DURATION: 6 Months initially then likely renew
COMPANY: Based Northamptonshire: Precision automotive company; low volume, high precision - machinings, plastics, electrics, engine parts
ROLE: Responsible for managing supplier quality - both new suppliers and existing suppliers. Performing Quality audits, helping suppliers meet exacting standards needed, resolving production issues.
SKILLS:
- at least 50% of your recent career spent in SQA role
- must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- have a rudimentary understanding of engine parts; names and function
- have an indepth application of APQP, PPAP, 8D; not just tick in a box but used the tools and be able to critique
