Laboratory Supervisor

Roles:
- Laboratory Manager will manage a small team organize Metallurgical EHS and quality activities and functions within the laboratory.
- Assure that all materials and processes meet the Company"s and customer requirements and specifications.
- The provision of materials, process data and control procedures for implementation by Production and Quality Control.
- You must be able to demonstrate effective communication and report writing as the laboratory will look after raw materials, intermediates and final products.

Essential:

- Experience as a Laboratory supervisor or Manager within a manufacturing environment
- Experience of problem solving, root cause analysis and corrective action tools and techniques
- Experience of working within at least an ISO9001 approved organisation, ideally an AS9100 approved organisation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with customers, both internal and external
- A self-motivated approach and a proactive attitude.


Desirable:
- Experience within an aerospace environment
- Experience working as a supplier into major aerospace engine OEMs
- Experience of Nadcap audit requirements.
- Well-versed in the tools and techniques associated with Lean and Six Sigma.
