A CAE Powertrain Analyst with is required to work within Product Development on contract for our Client.
The position will be based in Essex.
Positions description:
Commercial Vehicle Performance CAE Analyst Responsible for commercial vehicle performance target setting, CAE analysis and conducting signoff testing vs. Global requirements. Pulling together program documentation and presenting to Management. Root cause analysis of performance issues and making recommendations to solve issues. Working with Core Vehicle Performance team in Dearborn, USA and Merkenich, Germany. Working with Powertrain calibration team to achieve targets. Working with Vehicle fuel economy team to achieve the best balance of attributes. Regular travel to Lommel, Belgium to conduct performance testing. Supporting R202 Drive team events. Includes defining plans for and conducting benchmarking of competition.
Experience / education required:
-Matlab, Simulink, advanced Excel.
-UK Driving License.
-Automotive Industry experience.
-Mechanical or Automotive Engineering Degree.
