Oil & Gas Sales Engineer

£32k - 38k per year + +Bonus+Car
A well-established precision engineering company who currently services the Oil and Gas sector is looking to recruit a technical sales engineer.
You will be involved in all aspects of selling and marketing with extensive UK travelling, some overseas travel may be required, to assist the Managing Director with generating new business in the oil and gas sector. From time to time you will be required to attend nominated trade shows either as an exhibitor or to network with potential clients. You will already have an extensive relevant contact base in the O&G sector and will be able to identify potential work opportunities.
Role Qualities:
- Ability to farm contacts for suitable work opportunities
- Ability to make new contacts and network to achieve new business
- Proven track record with network of existing relevant contacts in O&G
- ‘Hands-on’ technical background
- Broad knowledge of modern manufacturing and inspection methodologies
- Ability to read and communicate engineering drawings and technical data sheets
- An understanding of operating in a Quality System environment.
Personal Qualities:
- Dynamic ‘can do’ self-starter and at the same time a UTP team player
- Well presented with ability to communicate at all levels
- Literate and Numerate
- Well versed in Microsoft office
- Experience of manufacturing systems advantageous
