CDM Co-Ordinator - Construction - London - £35-40K+

CDM Co-ordinator is required toprovide competent CDM services in order to generate revenue and GPM for LLC Design Safety for this leading construction company.  You will take responsibility for monitoring project costs in line with the approved budget and reporting same via Ebflow
and monthly reports.

You will have expert knowledge of CDM and construction related health and safety issues and knowledge of other
construction related health and safety regulations.

Suitable academic and/or professional qualification (may include RMaPS and/or IOSH membership).

Must have a commercial and financial awareness and an understanding of common construction techniques.

Major activities will include but is not limited to:

Advice and assist clients in order to help them comply with their duties, in particular their duty to appoint competent designers and contractors, and to ensure adequate arrangements are in place for managing the project.

Notify Health and Safety Executive about the project using form F10 and keep up to date.

Co-ordinate design work, planning and other preparation for construction where relevant to health and safety.

Identify and collect pre-construction information and advise the client if surveys need to be commissioned to fill significant gaps.

Manage the flow of health and safety information between clients, designers and contractors (usually by means of a CDM risk register or by
using Lend Lease ROAD process).

Advise the client as to the suitability of the initial construction phase plan and the arrangements made to ensure that welfare facilities are
on site from the start of the project.

Produce or update a relevant, user friendly, health and safety file at the end of the construction phase.
