An Electrical Design Engineer fully conversant with AutoCAD is required for major new project with a market leading engine testing Systems Company based in Worcester. This role is part of an exciting new expansion of the design team that will be designing Electronic and Electrical Control Systems for engine testing equipment.

Duties involved with this role will include:

- To produce electrical schematic and arrangement drawings for contracts using AutoCAD 2004/Electrical Designer CAD packages, Rittal Eplan P8 and Electrical Works.
- To produce specifications for bought out electrical equipment and parts lists for manufacture of control systems.
- To provide technical support and to liaise with other departments.
- To provide information to enable technical manuals and test procedures to be produced.

You will fully conversant with AutoCAD R2000i or above and experience with PLC/Computer controlled real-time control systems. HNC/HND or Degree qualified with knowledge of Thyristor controlled DC and AC Vector controlled drive systems being viewed very advantageously.

This is a Contracting position with a pay rate between £30-£35/hr. Ltd Co dependent on experience. Initially for 6-months our client envisages this role to continue on for substantially longer.
