Position Description:
Working for global test facility planning area you will be required to conduct complete analysis of component test activities, i.e. quantities, cost; lead/support engineering discussions on component testing requirements; lead/support discussions with internal facility managers/team to ensure internal facilities are fully utilised; lead/support cost discussions with OEM test sites & OEM component suppliers; lead/support strategic discussions regarding component test requirements; deliver all required administration, task management & planning; you may be required to travel in UK & overseas.

Skills required:
A comprehensive knowledge of automotive engineering & component rig testing activities ability to manipulate and interrogate component test requirements and procedures excellent analytical/numerical skills proven leadership and project management skills excellent communication & interpersonal skills at all levels an intermediate/advanced knowledge level in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint. Experience required:

Based at one of our clients distrubition and service centres we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager and as such we welcome applications who meet the criteria below:

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing (UK and Eire) General Manager. Required to Identify and develop new sustainable business opportunities and develop new and existing aftermarket revenue and profitability through the management of customer relationships in the Onshore and Offshore Oil and Gas industry and its support infrastructure.

  • Participate in the business planning forecast process.
  • Meet / exceed Sales and Profit targets
  • Assist with the development and lead the implementation of initiatives to meet the busijness object
  • Provide monthly sales forecasts, activity reporting and market input.
  • Maximise sales revenue and profitability of our Aftermarket Parts, Service and Equipment offerings to ensure targets are met on a monthly basis.
  • Deliver customer satisfaction through effective running of accounts, communication and developing first class customer relationships.
  • Review existing customer base and seek new business for allocated region and proactively seek opportunities to develop business including introducing Customer Support Plans.
  • In conjunction with Service Centre Managers, develop account plans to ensure profitable business growth and deliver customer satisfaction including the delivery of planned service profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Plan and manage customer visits to maximize efficiency and results.
  • Introduce and co-ordinate promotional activities within given territory as required.
  • Direct sales experience including the management and development of long-term, repeat-spend customer relationships.
  • General business acumen and people management experience
  • Strong computer skills including the use of standard office software
  • Higher education in engineering discipline
  • Diesel engine technical background
  • Proven track record in sales and can demonstrate above average sales performance, commercial awareness and negotiation skills preferably within an engineering based industry.
  • Communication / People skills.
  • Working knowledge of diesel engines and their application into the relevant market place.
  • Formal sales training relating to account management
  • Full driving license

Due to growth plans they are now looking for a Senior Lab Operations Engineer and as such we welcome applications who meet the criteria below:

In this role you are responsible for driving major test cell technology projects in the Lab Operations environment and provide effective support to minimise test cell downtime. Some level of instrumentation and controls support would also be part of the role

  • Support new projects and schemes in the test environment
  • Provide instrumentation and Controls support when required
  • Manage and drive implementation of related technology projects in the test cell environment
  • Manage new projects in the lab environment to improve capability, data quality and utilisation
  • Develop improved test cell processes and methods that improve data quality
  • Network with performance and mechanical development engineering to provide and receive feedback to advance the development cycle
  • Write and implement capable processes for the emissions and test cell environments to capture good working practice
  • Train others in the use of key test processes
  • Drive troubleshooting strategy through the appropriate use of analysis tools Require highly technical background in engine test facility environment
  • Experience in managing major test facility projects from concept to implementation
  • Well developed experience in implementing measurement instrumentation

A major supplier of automotive interior and exterior systems and components, requires an experienced Quality Engineer to join their expanding team due to a sustained growth in orders

Main Duties

-Quality engineer will be liaising with customers to ensure that their quality related needs are being met.
-To ensure that parts are approved through the official customer process, such as PPAP
-Ensure that approval documentation is stored and maintained and to work alongside the site to capture problems in house,
-To identify areas for improvement and to assist in lowering the sites Internal and External PPM s.
-Develop and update standard operating procedures in line with customer requirements for products
Ensure that any problems internal or external are tracked, recorded and communicated accurately
- Test, measure and analyse parts, samples and materials when required to do so.
-Assist the company and department in achieving and monitoring accreditation status.
-To undertake audits to validate internal and external processes.

Skills and Experience

- Candidates will be certified to HND level in engineering or manufacturing related discipline with previous experience of working within a high volume, automotive manufacturing environment,
- Should have the ability to work as an individual or as part of a team.
- Fully conversant with Quality systems including ISO9000 and TS16949
- Excellent organisational and communicational skills
