Our automotive client is a market leader in luxury and high volume off-road vehicles, designing and manufacturing in the Midlands.

The Advanced Manufacturing Team supports the very latest products, from concept to launch. We`re currently recruiting into a range of specialist areas.

Process Engineers, Facility Engineers and Virtual Simulation Engineers work closely with Product Development Engineers, Manufacturing Operations teams and equipment suppliers. You`ll ensure component and whole vehicle designs harmonise perfectly with manufacturing requirements, in terms of feasibility, efficiency and ultimate build integrity. You will be expected to design, develop and implement manufacturing solutions associated with Forming and Assembly, Processes, Tooling and Facilities.
There are opportunities across several core engineering areas including Stamping, Body in White, Paint, Trim and Final Assembly. In addition we are seeking the right candidates in the associated areas of Dimensional Control and Build Integrity, Dimensional Variation Analysis, Industrial Engineering and Manpower Planning.

We`re also seeking Programme Management Engineers to coordinate manufacturing activities and product gateways to ensure delivery of project targets, and Manufacturing Business Office Engineers to help establish future strategy by conducting and scrutinising Make vs. Buy Studies and Manufacturing Feasibility Studies.

To join in any of these roles, you`ll need to combine a relevant degree (or equivalent) with proven manufacturing engineering experience in a relevant industry. Naturally, you`ll be a team player with the flexibility to work alongside talented colleagues from all kinds of disciplines, at any of the sites. You`ll need to demonstrate good IT skills and an awareness of Process Authoring Tool simulation and virtual toolsets, such as Digibuck, Process Simulate, CATIA V5 and GSPAS. Ideally, you will already have some vehicle manufacturing and launch experience.
