Catia V5 Safety Component Systems Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

Position Description:
Catia V5 CAD Engineer Safety Component Systems
Creation of CAD geometry to support the virtual series process with a number of synchronised program data freeze points leading to production release. Also ongoing updates to eliminate, build or maturation issues. Ensure data is up to date and reflects the required levels of maturity at any given point in time. Liaise with other areas within Body Engineering, other affected functional areas, the supply base and programme teams, to ensure system compatibility issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Skills Required:
Catia V5 is a minimum requirement.
Skills Preferred:
Engineering knowledge of Safety Component Systems design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements. AVA knowledge or potential for AVA, OEM Tce knowledge. Proven project time line management. Any person supplied should have a valid UK driving licence and meet the medical requirements of OEM facilities. Working knowledge of project delivery processes - GPDS / FPDS / PPAP. Working knowledge of change management processes - AIMS, WERS, PACN.

Experience Required:
Successful history as a CAD Designer/Engineer in the automotive sector.
Education Required:
Ideally degree educated.
