Our client has been established in the UK for almost 30 years and is looking to maintain and bolster its position with a number of key appointments. Working in a challenging but collaborative environment with a complex, technically innovative product for some of the largest and most successful automotive OEMs in the world.

We are seeking a Logistics Analyst on a 3/6-month contract based near Sutton Coldfield.

As Logistics Analyst, you will provide ongoing improvements in stock accuracy and stock turn.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Managing the liaison between our client and its suppliers and customers.
* Processing and interpreting customer and supplier schedules liaising with the Production Supervisor to ensure these customer requirements are met in full.
* Liaising with the Production Team to ensure these customer requirements are met in full.
* Deriving the master production schedule based on delivery requirements from customers and input this into the internal MRP system.
* Investigate any inaccuracies and making adjustments when the reason for the inaccuracy is known.
* Responsible for creation and processing of supplier delivery schedules
* Monitoring suppliers deliveries (via direct contact with the supplier and from stock information from stores) taking necessary action to recover shortfalls in the delivery programme.

It is essential for Applicants to have experience in 1st Tier automotive in an Assembly plant or Manufacturing Plant.
* German speaking advantageous but not essential.
* Minimum 1 years SAP experience in modules: material management, production planning and sales and distribution.
