Our client is one of the world`s leading developers, manufacturers and suppliers of precision seals and bearings supplying to the automotive, aerospace, oil and gas, food and marine industries.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the role is primarily an interface with the customer concerning technical matters. The aim of the Application Engineering function is to facilitate the application of products into the customer s product by providing technical advice, directly or via the sales teams about the specification, suitability or design of seals in the relevant operating conditions as defined by the customer or end user. The application engineer s role can be specific to a market segment or multiple markets segments and thereby encompasses the potential for dealing with a large range of applications.
An engineering or other relevant technical qualification to HND or higher or with comparable demonstrated experience.
You will have the ability to comprehend engineering drawings and technical specifications with an operational knowledge of latest CAD systems.
