Six Sigma Black Belt

Midlands based Manufacturer concentrating primarily on the production of transmissions for backhoe loaders, telescopic material handlers and a large portfolio of supporting equipment. Planned improvement projects have created the need for a qualified 6 Sigma Black Belt.
Primarily you will be tasked with managing a project team to ensure the successful implementation of improvement projects to enhance company performance, sales revenue growth, improved quality, increased profits, reduced costs and cycle times. You will lead the project teams to improve critical business processes and metrics measurements, including; people, quality, velocity and cost performance indicators - measuring real time results to enable fact based decision making.
Experience and Qualification
- Successful delivery of projects / tasks
- Team Leadership and communication skills
- General business knowledge
- Numerical aptitude with the ability to learn and carry out statistical analysis
- PC skills with specific knowledge of spreadsheets, presentation packages and word processing
The ability to work to specified deadlines
- Creative problem solving experience
- Prior supervisory experience is desirable
- Ideally a graduate qualification with 3-5 years work experience as black belt or significant levels of additional relevant work experience
- Certified / qualified 6 Sigma Black Belt
