Purchasing Assistant

Our client is a leading prestige automotive manufacturer based in Oxfordshire who are lookimg to recruit a Purchasing Assistant to support their busy indirect purchasing team.
The role will include the preparation of quotation packages, liaison with suppliers on account queries. Updating computerised purchasing system, generic purchase assignments with suppliers (i.e. benchmarking exericises)and
supporting the purchasing team with administrative exercises.
You will have a desire to gain experience within a busy purchasing team and ideally be studying towards CiPD or have completed the qualification.
Applicants must demonstrate strong a knowledge of MS Office Packages (Word, Excel, etc) and be capable of working on own initiative.
