A specialist market leader in their field with offices in the UK and France; they design, manufacture and produce specialist medical equipment.

Much of the work they do is bespoke having worked in unison with medical professionals, however they also have "off the shelf" type products which are made to mass volumes.

The CNC Workshop Technician role comprises of working on the shopfloor with various machinery, mainly CNC to include manual lathes also. This role involves a large amount of programming so you must have proven experience in programming, setting and operating; any experience working on plastic (Delrin, Perplas or Peek) would be very useful.


You`ll be liaising with the design team advising on production issues and offering advice to them. You experience on the CNC side must be from an environment with challenging deadlines as this firm are often working to very unforgiving timelines. Some of the work with be prototype work which will allow you to have input at the design phase to maximise the product; experience of both lathes and mills would be perfect.

This is a permanent role with an immediate start; salary is dependent on experience and to be discussed at submission stage. The range of benefits include 26 days holiday and pension once probationary period is completed.
