My client is a leading clean power systems company. Their proprietary clean fuel and clean power technologies provide solutions to the difficult environmental and energy supply challenges being faced by governments and industry.
They are looking to appoint Test and Validation Engineer who will be responsible for the design and development of control systems for modular stacks and systems.
As a Test and Validation Engineer you will contribute to the development of world class hydrogen fuel cell systems from early concept through to product release into motive, aerospace network and off-grid power applications.
The role covers a large range of work: analysis of designs to identify areas of risk and how to assess them; creating and running project test plans; conducting tests and reporting conclusions/recommended actions; integration and commissioning of systems; contributing to project design reviews and informing relevant business areas of the status of product validation. To be successful in this role you will require the following:
Broad knowledge of mechanics, electrical and electronic engineering.
A degree in a relevant Engineering or Science subject.
Aptitude for hands-on working in piping, electronics or instrumentation.
A systematic, logical approach with great planning and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills- especially planning, analysis and reporting.
Ability to react to a dynamic environment and respond to challenging deadlines.
Be prepared to work off-site in UK and international customer sites for short periods of time.
Conscious of health and safety requirements and good working practices.
