Part of a global organisation, this well established manufacturer of luxury vehicles is currently enjoying success within the market place. They have invested over £200m in new equipment and are at the forefront of modern manufacturing practices.
We are recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer on a 12-month contract based in Liverpool.
Material, Planning and Logistics require a Manufacturing Engineer for 12-months to work on project relating to Right First Time issues specifically related to MPandL. This dayshift role reports directly to the Material Handling and Knock Down Manager.
Working hours are: 8am to 4pm (total 37.5 hours), Monday to Friday. Applicants must be flexible to work additional hours if required.
Skills required:
* Experience of working in a fast paced Manufacturing environment.
* Ability to analyse data and present potential solutions.
* Experience and ability in Practical Problem Solving.
* Knowledge and experience of supporting Heath and Safety processes.
* Experience of, and ability to effectively use Lean/ Continuous improvement tools/ waste reduction techniques.
* Ability to lead Multi-discipline / Cross Functional teams for Process Improvement.
Applicants are required to have Degree in either an Engineering or Technical discipline.
