As Principal Resident Engineer you will support various builds across a range of vehicle projects acting as the focal point for the communication and resolution of Craftsmanship issues prior to SOP. It is envisaged that work arrangements will be a rotation of 6 weeks in India, 2 weeks in the UK.
You will carry out verification builds using Master Body and eCube, working with relevant body in white, interior and exterior engineers to resolve craftsmanship issues as well as support project reviews.
Applicants must show evidence of achieving results through effective leadership of a team, able to translate business plans into individual objectives for staff and capable of managing a group of engineers and supports the Executive Engineers in the delivery of the performance objectives for their groups.
Applicants must be degree qualified or hold a similar qualification plus:
- Strong numeracy and literacy
- Automotive Craftsmanship experience is essential
- Capable of leading a project elements with support from more senior staff when necessary.
- Effective team member contributing to improvements and high customer service.
- Will already be chartered or working towards chartered status
