A specialist market leader in their field with offices in the UK and France; they design, manufacture and produce specialist medical equipment.

Much of the work they do is bespoke having worked in unison with medical professionals, however they also have "off the shelf" type products which are made to mass volumes.
The Workshop Technician role comprises of working on the shopfloor with various machinery, mainly CNC to include manual lathes also.

This varied role will include the measurement of the products (using hand tools and potentially CMM) to micron level tolerances. You`ll be liaising with the design team advising on production issues and offering advice to them.

You must be an experienced CNC machinist (either lathes or mills) and be a competent operator; you don`t need to be able to program for this role.

Any experience using verniers, micrometers or shadow graphs would be advantageous as well as having worked to very strict deadlines.
This is a permanent role with an immediate start; salary is dependent on experience and to be discussed at submission stage. The range of benefits include 26 days holiday and pension once probationary period is completed.
