REQUIREMENTS: The Engineering Leader -Engineering Services contributes to and leads projects and processes relative to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, Configuration Management, and Engineering digital tools and Information Technology systems. You will lead a small team to support the aerostructures business on day to day issues as well as leading projects to deliver long term business benefits
DESCRIPTION: Our client designs and manufactures aerostructures for both the civil and military aerospace markets. Due to continued expansion they are looking for an Engineering Leader-Engineering Services.
VAC REQ :Essential Responsibilities : Provide support to Engineering Services Sub-Section for specific project and processes
Support and drive productivity initiatives relative to engineering processes, tools, and Information Technology (IT) systems including process development, testing, documentation, and end user training and support
Define Procedures, Develop Training Materials and Conduct training for new functions, modules, tools and processes in ENOVIA MatrixOne PLM system
Provide application support to Engineering, Manufacturing, and other teams across the value chain
Develop best practices that can be leveraged and used by application users across the enterprise
Leverage best practices from PLM Instances across GE to identify process enhancements
Collaborate with global and contract resources to complete critical business deliverables
Provide technical communication and updates to peers / management
Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues
