One of the worlds largest utilities, focused on delivering energy safely, reliably and efficiently.
Currently looking to recruit a project engineer to be based out of Leeds office to safely deliver robust and reliable substations.
You will need to have prior experience of managing a portfolio of capital projects and hands on experience of project delivery within substations. Ideally qualifed to TP141 or TP144 you will be responsible for ensuring the delegated duties are carried out to company standards.
You will be responsible for pro-active management of SHESQ issues and ensure that at all times the project complies with relevant legislation policies, guidelines, processes and procedures.
You will need to have a strong operational background with substations and should ideally be degree qualified but as a minimum HNC qualified. You will preferably be a member of a recognised professional body and have sufficient SHESQ knowledge.
The role is for a 12 month contract initially paying 26p.h. On a limited company basis, but the pay rate will increase in line with recognised industry accreditation.
