This is a very exciting opportunity for Candidates with a 1st, 2.1 or higher Degree in Physics, Maths, Automotive or Mechanical Engineering seeking a career in Powertrain Engineering. The role is split between hands-on analysis, (modeling and simulation using CAE as well as hand calculations), and supporting testing activities. CAE tools will include MATLAB/Simulink, AVL Cruise, GT Suite, Dymola, Ricardo WAVE and candidates will need to demonstrate the use of at least one of these (or similar) packages in their final year Degree project. You will be working on a wide variety of projects covering conventional and electric vehicle powertrains analysing operating principals and the influence on vehicle performance, fuel economy and other attributes. Recent Graduates and candidates with 1 or 2 years experience will be considered providing they are EU Nationals or hold a Tier 1 work permit.
