The succesful applicant will primarily be responsible for all aspects of draughting for product development and production purposes. This will include initial drawing creation, checking, drawing updates and also maintaining configuration control across a range of products. These products include aircraft generators, starters, actuator motors and associated control electronics. Your experience will mean you`ll be competent with a mainstream CAD package (e.g. Catia v5, NX6.0, I-deas), have a good grasp of configuration control principles and of change control management methods. Alongside this you will be tasked on occasion to support the detail design process, refine initial designs and assist in developing design solutions and improvements.
