An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to work with a 1st tier supplier, supplying pressed and stamped parts to the automotive industry. This is a senior role reporting into the Operations Director and is a new position within the company which has arisen due to an internal re-organisation.
As Quality Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a TS16949 QMS, and will have auditing capabilities. The role will also require travel to Europe twice a month for short periods to audit suppliers. You will have previous experience of working within an automotive environment, and specifically TS16949. You will have strong leadership skills, and previous management experience as you will be managing a team of 5 Quality Engineers / Auditors. You will be responsible for managing new project introduction, and will have excellent communication skills at all levels.
