Main role
To lead and facilitate supplier improvement projects to develop and improve the external supply chain performance in terms of Quality, Delivery, Cost and Capability.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and Develop Existing Supply Chain Performance process as required.
- Implement projects as part of improving the performance of a business, through the application of appropriate LEAN & Quality improvement tools.
- Quantify the financial impact on operational cost performance, and agree benefit with supplier.
- Train and coach suppliers to improve aspects of their business performance.
- Manage improvement charters to deliver agreed objectives “on-time” and “in-full” within nominated supply chain.
- Develop supplier capability to meet current and future requirements.
- Manage and influence multiple stakeholders.
Skills
- Proven track record of application of Lean & Quality improvement processes and tools.
- Proven ability to manage multi problem investigations simultaneously.
- Demonstrated passion for process design and continuous improvement.
- Manufacturing process knowledge.
- LEAN & DMAIC process knowledge
- Practical Problem Solving.
- Value Stream Mapping
