Powertrain Project Manager

£24.60 - 24.60 per hour
Part of the Powertrain Project Management team delivering all PT model year actions into production on time having successfully met all performance, durability, attribute and cost targets. Key responsibilities will include: cost, weight and assumptions management, facilitation of issue resolution reviews and component and system design releases, advising line management of deviations to the plan and driving solutions and corrective actions.
Skills Required:
Good overall Powertrain system knowledge. Computer literate in Google, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project. Valid UK driving licence. Ability to interface directly to the vehicle programme teams and represent the Powertrain Department. Flexible, adaptable and excellent communicator both written / oral.
Experience Required:
Powertrain system design / development or programme management.
Education Required:
It is anticipated that applicants will be educated to a degree level in an engineering or automotive discipline. However candidates with significant Powertrain experience will also be considered.
Additional Information:
This contract location will be primarily based at Gaydon with limited travel to OEM facilities at Whitley as required. Applicant to be fully independent in terms of transport and have use of mobile phone to aid communication.
