Working for a leading supplier of vehicle information systems to major automotive companies, developing software to operate the instrument packs and interface with the vehicle communications networks.

Role
You will be responsible for overall effectiveness of Software Engineering activities, the development of Principle Software Engineers and Software Engineers whilst ensuring that the quality standards defined by NSTC are met and the correct preparation of all quality inspective meetings undertaken for Software Engineers.

Also responsible for implementing process improvement programs that will be agreed with Technical Manager, sufficient Software resource is available for meeting agreed project timing, Ensuring Software problems arising with planned work are resolved effectively or escalated to the Technical Manager.

Requirements
You will be Degree qualified in Computer Science or an Engineering or equivalent, highly organised, time management, excellent communication skills and able to successfully build effective working relationships with Systems Engineering Manager and Project Engineering Manager.

Use own initiative to solve problems and diplomatically project manage colleagues to meet deadlines.
