Production Support Planner

My client is specialist in the Defence Electronics market working on high value Imaging equipment. As a Production Support Planner you have responsibility for the internal planning and expediting a defined group of Products within the manufacturing lines in order to satisfy customer requirements (OTIF), whilst constantly improving costs, cycle times and agility (reactivity). Working with the Supply Chain the role also has responsibility for the timely arrival of all manufacturing materials and components to the manufacturing areas.
The ideal candidate will have good working knowledge of Materials Management and Planning Systems (SAP preferred). Production Scheduling experience using both Pull and Push planning Strategies, Theory of Constraints, DBR approach and shop floor materials management techniques, (kitting, kanban). Have knowledge of ISO9000 policy and procedures and LEAN manufacturing techniques.
This role is commutable from Harlow, Chelmsford, Braintree and Basildon. You must hold or be eligible to obtain a high level UK Security clearance.
