Bill of Materials Analyst.

Skills Required:
Support all prototype build events by issuing GPIRS orders, including any required amendments, in pursuit of 100% parts delivery at MRD. Provide scheduling and validation support as required for each program. Support additional build requirements by adding or deleting BoM attributes. Manage any special handling of parts e.g. re-works. Responsible for supplier follow-up including tracking transport details. Monitors Inactive Material reports and manages the scrapping process. Actions picks and issues build site documentation as necessary. Represents their commodity/Vehicle Line and provides appropriate administration to support Shortage Meetings. Chases material and maintains status reporting in the CMMS environment for Program Pre-Builds where PPM have SCM responsibilities Participates in GPIRS validation actions with affected PMT"s and ensures that the resulting BoM revisions are reflected in their subsequent ordering and following up documentation Participates in events with Ford representatives and third parties such as suppliers when promise dates are either not forthcoming or unacceptable. Supports PPM scorecard SQDCME objectives.

Skills Preferred:
Proficiency in GPIRS/WERS/CMMS3. Good grounding in GPDS principles. Good interpersonal/communication skills. Periods of travel and being away from home will be required.

Experience Required:
Proven experience in material control or supply chain.

Education Required:
Educated to A level standard.
