ZF Transmission Calibration Engineer

£19 per hour

To provide support for ZF transmission calibration team of 18 based at Whitley. Types of duties to be performed: scheduling car repairs/reworks, diagnosing trans faults, re-flashing other fleet cars, organising sign-off drive events, providing logistical support when transporting cars /parts/people.

Skills Required:
INCA experience required. Must be able to manage own time and plan ahead. Knowledge of Automotive electrical systems preferred. Must be a confident communicator, verbal and written at all levels. Excellent communication skills. Good PC skills, including Microsoft Office.

Experience Required:
Must be familiar with automotive test environment and manufacturing environment.

Experience Preferred:
Experience of working in an engineering environment. Technical understanding of the Powertrain and Transmission systems would be useful.

Education Required:
Educated to A level or equivalent, in a relevant field or subject, is a minimum requirement.

Additional Information:
To provide Launch support at Castle Bromwich and Solihull, with visits to base team at Whitley. Successful candidates will need to have a full UK Driving licence and meet medical requirements of OEM facilities.
