A leading aerospace player in the UK has an interesting new opportunity for a Lead Test Engineer. This role could also becalled Test Manager.It is based on the Isle of Wight.You will lead the company's test activities, whilst being a specialist in structural test. You will also support the expansion of the current Test Facilities over the next 5 years.

In addition to structural testing, this role will also perform Fire Testing and Environmental Testing. You will lead a small team and be involved in the selection and commissioning of new test rigs as well as the actual structurla testing.

You will be qualified to at least an HNC and have senior test experience including hydraulic servo control. A good knowledge of instrumentation and data acquistion would also be useful.Your experience does not have to be in aerospace. You can live on the attractive island or mainland.
