Design Engineer

An outstanding opportunity to join one of the world's most iconic brands within motorsport on a contract basis.
They are now looking for a Design Engineer to work for an initial 6 month period to assist in the motorsport activities in a mechanical design and installation role.
As the Design Engineer you will be involved in:
-Component design using 3D CAD software
-Completion and release of engineering drawings
-Design and development of rig and test equipment
-Fault resolution
-Data transfer to customers
-Management of customer build specifications
-Management of CAD assemblies structures
The successful Design Engineer must have a relevant engineering degree or equivalent design experience in F1 or comparable formula along with proven experience of solid modelling and detail drafting essential and proven experience in transmissions or hydraulic systems design desirable.
Must have good communication skills and NX experience would be an advantage
