A world leader in the innovation, design and manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection equipment are now looking for a Customer Quality Engineer to cover the management of the customer/quality interface between our client and our customers in order to improve relationships and provide a competent, efficient and comprehensive quality support service to users of all products manufactured at Gillingham and, in some cases, other MDBU plants.
All aspects of quality are supported from PPAP management, launch, series production, customer OEM 0Km support and Warranty.

The Customer Quality Engineer will be the primary contact between the customer and the plant and must ensure that all appropriate actions to support the customer are understood, agreed and implemented by all parties in order to improve quality levels. In plant activities will include the support and execution of robust problem solving activities working practically when required both in house and at customers premises'.
The Quality Engineer will mainly be involved in the following:
- Being the primary interface for all customer concerns regarding products supplied.
- Investigating and advising on use related issues at customer premises to ensure customers appropriate use of the product
- Manage in it's entireity the concern investigation, root cause analysis and improvement implementation process for all customer issues
- Visiting customer facilities both re-actively and pro-actively to establish and develop customer relationships
- Record, analyse and manage data relating to quality issues in order to provide the necessary information to management to deploy the resources appropriately to improve quality
- Manage all systems and documentation supporting the successful understanding, improving and systemically improving all customer quality concerns
As the Customer Quality Engineer you will have experience in:
