Quality Engineer-Automotive 1st Tier Supplier
Coventry, West Midlands
We are working with a very specialist 1st tier automotive supplier who are very well established providing products into a major OEM. They have 2 sites in the Midlands and have targeted the second half of 2012 for a massive increase in production, they are making some 1100 units a week come August.
They are looking to bolster their team with a competent and experienced automotive Quality Engineer. You do not need to be management level but a team-player who has worked to both TS16949 and ISO 9001 standards, again you won't be implementing these systems, merely adhering to them and offering your own lean/continual improvement advice. The role will be in a very fast paced environment so you must be organised, friendly and personable.
You must have proven experience of quality methodology/techniques such as 5S, 5Y, 8D, Kaizen, Kanban (amongst others) in an automotive environment.
It's an immediate start with a good market salary in an established 1st Tier supplier.
