Electronics Design Engineer - Defence - Essex

Our client is seeking an electronics design engineer with a solid background in CMOS design. This role is based with a leading supplier of RF, microwave and sensing components and sub-systems for the Defence and Electronics market. Based in Essex, the role is commutable from Brentwood, Harlow, Chelmsford, Braintree, Rayleigh and Basildon.

The critical requirement for this opportunity is good level of CMOS analogue design experience and CMOS full custom digital experience. Experience in Imaging to understand pixel and optics implications would be a bonus.

Main Accountabilities:
- Participate to the feasibility study of new project by providing design solution including development time.
- Designing analogue and digital full custom blocks for imaging (specification, architecture, schematic, outputting guidance for layout and review of layout, simulation, test strategy, robustness of the design).
- Responsible for design up to test.
- Support for characterization.
