Engineering Program Manager - NPI

Our client is a major supplier and developer of products and services to the aerospace and defence sectors on a global basis.
With specific focus on propeller systems, they are seeking an Engineering Program Manager - NPI who will be responsible for all work associated with designing, qualifying and supporting propeller systems projects within the Engineering Department.
The position will require someone with a dynamic personality capable of delivering projects to scope, on time and within budget. The role will
also provide the voice of customer within the engineering department by ensuring that resources are available to support project requirements.
Essential responsibility, to take overall responsibility for developing an integrated project plan to meet project schedule commitments, support technical resource leaders to meet schedule commitments and deliveries.
In addition:
- negotiate work scopes and schedules with all internal and external customers
- manage all resource plans, particularly against technical leads
- ensure technical adherence
- manage and drive down risks through maintenance of a Risk Management Process.
- manage communication with customers at tech reviews and meetings
- drive Technical Program Managers to ensure execution of all program commitments
