A Sourcing and Quality Engineer is required by a leading motorsport team to be responsible for the continued quality of supplier parts for the manufacture of battery systems. Developing and delivering quality part and process preparation with suppliers, to ensure the on time
delivery of current products and the smooth launch of new programmes.

Key Accountabilities

Manage the on time delivery of 100% accurate parts and for new products final part approval.

Lead the application of Quality tools with emphasis on Failure Mode Analysis activities and Practical Problem Solving for existing and new product launches.

Confirm supplier manufacturing capacity & capability and ensure no negative impact to supply and quality.

Lead the development and implementation of a quality management system, securing the process and agreed operating practices by working with internal teams and at suppliers.

Complete supplier quality audits and define improvement action plans.

Report quality status at major programme gateways to senior management.

Lead and assist in the resolution of supplier quality concerns impacting upon the Company and its customers

The successful applicant will also be responsible for sourcing and product quality for all Battery products, solutions and in service upgrades
