Project Coordinator - Aerospace

Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacturing of Aerostructures for both the Civil and Military Aerospace markets, and they are currently looking to recruit two Project Co-Ordinators to work on their high-profile A350 program in Southampton.
The Project Co-Ordinators will provide direct support to Engineering Leads by gathering the necessary technical information required for them to perform at the highest standard. They will manage functional resource planning to meet program, engineering and operational plans, support Engineering Project Management to determine daily priorities and operational decisions, co-ordinate work packages to deliver functional project schedules and provide analysis of cost, schedule and planning detail. They will also manage rosters, engagement plans and communicate team updates, as well as identifying opportunities to improve team performance. They will also produce a high level of documentation, including reports and metrics for use by the management team.
Candidates must have an engineering background, ideally in Mechanical, Aerospace or Manufacturing, with a good working knowledge of engineering processes, as this role represents an excellent opportunity for those with aspirations to progress toward a Lead Engineering Project Management role. They will have a proven track record in planning and very strong interpersonal skills, in addition to being well-versed in MS Project and having advanced Excel skills.
