Manufacturing Manager

This manufacturer of interior trim products has continued to win market share with many prestigious automotive OEM's. As part of a continued transformation of the business and drive for continuous improvement they are now looking for an inspirational and driven Manufacturing Manager. The main responsibility of the role will be to deliver the key elements of World Class Manufacturing and to deliver embed and sustain an operational culture that will lead to tangible improvement in safety, quality, cost and delivery.
You must have experience in,
- High volume automotive component manufacture.
- Demonstrable experience of delivering bottom line improvement through the implementation of modern lean manufacturing practices.
- Significant operations and production management experience.
- Knowledge and experience of Health and Safety (OHSAS 18001) and Environmental (ISO 14001) systems, procedures and regulations.
The salary range for this challenging role is £55-60,000pa depending on experience with a car allowance, healthcare and pension. Interviews for the role will take place early in October with the view to a start in November or December depending on availability and notice period. Ideally you will be degree/diploma qualified in a manufacturing, engineering or management discipline.
