CAD Engineer - Basildon, Essex - c£35K + Benefits

A leading edge automotive engineering company based in Basildon and Coventry are now strengthening its team to continue to build on
the growing success of this company and are now looking for an HNC/HND or higher qualified Design Engineer with automotive experience to assist in the preparation of modular hybrid products for a number of customer applications in Europe and US through to production launch.
This is a great opportunity for a Design Engineer with PRO E and experience in powertrain to join their existing team, however the company
will be transitioning to CATIA very soon.
Key responsibilities:
Mechanical drawing design/development
Prepare schematic diagrams and BOM’s in liaison with Senior Engineers
Liaise with Electronics Designers to package PCB’s into mechanical design
Skill sets required:
•Use PRO-E
•Experience of die casting
•Experience of solid modelling
Ideally you will have a background in mechanical process engineering for manufacturing.
An appreciation of mechanical design of Rotating Machines/Electric Motors would be desirable along with a basic understanding of
fundamental workshop process’s with hands on experience
