Our client is a world-leader in the provision of project management, technical engineering and construction services to the Water industry, on programs ranging from Water Supply, Treatment and Storage to Water Resources Management and Coastal Restoration. They are currently looking to appoint a Senior Proposals Engineer at their Surrey office on a contract basis.

As Senior Proposals Engineer, you will ensure that the submission of accurate and competitive tenders that satisfy our client's drivers, the company secures adequate new business to achieve targeted turnover and profit levels with appropriate year on year growth.

You will have responsibility for:
- Managing and co-ordinating timely preparation of tenders for process and MEICA Engineering works in accordance with individual clients requirements
- Managing company/client interface and relationships
- Participating in pre-qualification document production
- Scheduling/leading initial tender, tender progress, tender design review and tender finalisation meetings including production of minutes and ensuring actions are completed
- Distribution of client information to all internal disciplines/external stakeholder/suppliers/sub-contractors
- Monitoring tender plan resource estimate against tender costs/progress and report savings/deficiencies to the Manager
- Understanding clients project drivers and communicate drivers to tender team

Applicants should possess the following skills/ experience:
- Proposals experience preferably within Water andWastewater industry
- Planning capability sufficient to prepare tender Programmes
- Design and construction experience sufficient to influence the design and build ability of a project, choice of materials and be able to contribute to optioneering
- Understanding of the conditions of contract and specifications commonly used within the water industry

You will be educated with an Engineering degree qualification as well as a holding memberships with a professional institution.
